Management Systems

Introduction

Management Systems

A Management System is a collection of defined processes working in an interactive manner to achieve the organisation’s policies and objectives. A well-structured management system can be used to also meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Typical Pathway to Certification

We conduct an assessment your existing systems and processes to determine gaps or areas for improvement, to the relevant requirements. A gap report is provided describing which elements of the standard are against your system.
We develop a detailed project plan to address the gaps and improvement areas. The project plan will detail actions, responsibilities, timelines, and progression towards deadlines. The project can be managed through various engagement arrangements, depending on client needs and expectations. A third party Certification Body (CB) can be advised, and arrangements made to plan for certification audits.
Coordination and roll-out of new or improved processes with relevant stakeholders. Training, coaching and awareness of the standard(s) is provided. Generation of the necessary evidence to support the new or improved processes. A review and closure of project plan items are conducted.
Assure Focus International (AFI) ensures you are ready and supports you throughout the Stage 1 and Stage 2 audit process. We see ourselves as an extension to your organisation by providing real value-added support, particularly with other parties.
Certification is the first step in the journey and is often the easy part. Ongoing upkeep of your aerospace system must be managed to meet unique customer requirements, new products/services, and organisational changes.

Ongoing support can include document review, report reviews, management review, and internal audits, and further system improvements.

With the cultural changes in workplace arrangements, remote consulting has been successfully accomplished with information and communication technologies. This option can reduce travel time and costs and add resource flexibility on an as-needed basis. Typically, there is an onsite expectation, based on risk.

What is the goal?

  • Where necessary, be documented for consistency and control
  • Be easily communicated and understood
